Money Counters

There are many different types of money counters and currency counting machines. A money counter is a machine that is purpose built to count money whether it is in coins or banknotes. Money counters are multi functional they do not only count the money but they can sort and bag the money as well. Here is a look at some of the different forms of money counters available today:

Coin Sorters – a coin sorter is a machine that sorts the coins into piles of their own kind so they can easily be counted or bagged straight away. Coin sorters can be manual or electronic and range in their functionality. For example some coin sorting machines can handle all different types of currencies, and some coin sorters count the money as well.

Banknote Counters – with a banknote counting machine you can place a pile of banknotes into the machine and it will count and give a total amount of how much money has been placed into the machine. Some machines require you to only place the same type of note into the machine for it to count the total amount such as only ten pound notes or only twenty pound notes whereas other machines can handle all different types of notes all in one bundle and the machine can count it perfectly.

Coin Counters – a coin counter counts a wad of coins for you in a matter of minutes, depending on the sophistication of the machine depends on how fast the machine is but to give an idea a decent coin counter can count 3000 coins per minute. Some coin counters specify that you can only place one coin type into the machine to be counted at a time, and so only 1ps and then only 5ps. The key benefit with coin counters is that is makes the task of bagging up money that much easier for instead of having to count out £1 from your 1ps and 2ps you can use the coin counter which is faster and more accurate.
