With this machine the money placed on the plate needs to be pre-sorted and then you select whether they are 2ps or 1ps and the machine works it out from the weight of that particular coin.

The Jetsort 4000 Coin Sorter: This coin sorter is a very large machine and is only usually used in banks. Some coin sorters have bags attached to the end of the sorting funnels; this machine because it is so large has sachets to collect all the money. This machine has great security measures as the doors are tightly sealed and secure not allowing them to be prised open easily; they are so tight it actually reduces the noise level of the machine. The speed of this machine is great, it can count up to 4500 coins in one minute, and it can sort up to 8 coins.
