It only seems like yesterday that the world was being awed by Zhang Yimou’s Beijing Olympic opening ceremony – those amazingly choreographed drummers the crazy colourful energy, the invention, the sheer scale. It’s hard to think that in no time at all the London 2012 Olympics will be upon us. Fingers cross the organisers have got as exciting a show lined up for us as they had in China.
